Shepherd's Bush Green

Local Priorities

Fencing of stolen goods.

Issued: 21 May 2026

Status Update

S - We will identify a new venue that is fencing stolen goods with a view to making Shepherd's Bush Green an inhospitable place for burglary, theft and robbery. Criminals need to offload stolen property quickly to turn into cash typically to buy drugs or alcohol. By closing down a prolific avenue, we hope that SBG will be a less attractive area in which to offend.
M - This is measurable by showing that a venue has been closed down and also examining the impact it has on theft related offences.
A - This is achievable through partnership working with the council through warrants and closure orders.
R - Theft is the major crime type for SBG.
T - This is to be completed by the end of Sept for review at the next ward panel.

Renewed at the May ward panel.

Actioned: 21 Sep 2026

Intimidatory behaviour outside Shepherd's Bush Market on Uxbridge Road.

Issued: 21 May 2026

Status Update

S - Stop the gathering of males smoking drugs and drinking alcohol on the cusp of the Shepherd's Bush Market north entrance. This is to have a secondary foci outside 'BetFred' and The Lime Grove Entrance
M - This is measurable through the removal of this group from this area.
A - This will be achieved through working with the Market Traders' Association and the Market Management firm through joint banning orders to work together around the public and private space (as different legislation applies.) A steady approach needs to be taken to prevent short-term relocation of the antisocial behaviour. We will also work with the LET and BetFred.
R - This affects the quality of life of people both using the market and walking past; it is an issue that is raised repeatedly.
T - This is to be reviewed at the ward panel at the end of Sept.

Renewed at the May ward panel meeting.

Drug Crime and related ASB on Queensdale Crescent

Issued: 21 May 2026

Status Update

S - The housing blocks on Queensdale Crescent are being affected by drug crime and ASB. There are reports of drug dealing and drug use in the communal areas with crack cocaine users being found as well as drug paraphernalia such as crack pipes.
M - We will work with the residents through resident meetings and communication through MetEngage to establish the causes of the problems. Once we have established with the causes we will work together to reduce and remove this problem. Partners might include LBHF Housing, LET, Turning Point and Residents' Associations.
A - Through a study of the specific localised problem and its causes we hope to design out the crime through enforcement and persuasion.
R - Success will look like us receiving significantly fewer reports of drug misuse.
T - This initial stage is to be completed prior to the next ward panel in Sept and to be reviewed at panel.

Renewed at May's ward panel.
